Fannborg refers to two distinct locations in Iceland: a 1,444-meter high hill in the Kerlingarfjöll mountain range, and an area within Kópavogur, Iceland's second-largest municipality. The Kópavogur location has recently been in the news due to residents' dissatisfaction with a lack of information from the town regarding damage caused by flying corrugated metal debris. The hill in Kerlingarfjöll is a notable landmark on the way to Snækollur.
