Sanna Magdalena Mörtudóttir is an Icelandic politician who has served as a municipal representative on the Reykjavík City Council since 2018, becoming the youngest city councilor in Reykjavík's history at age 26. She was elected leader of the Icelandic Socialist Party in 2024. Mörtudóttir has an MA in Anthropology from the University of Iceland and focuses on issues of equality and welfare in her political career.
