Þrengslin is a mountain pass located in Ölfus, South Iceland, known for its scenic route and often visited for Northern Lights tours due to minimal light pollution. It is situated near the Hellisheiði geothermal power plant and the Bláfjöll ski resort. The area is characterized by untouched lava fields, which are covered in moss during summer and snow in winter. The road through Þrengslin, Þrengslavegur, was constructed in the 1960s to improve connectivity in Iceland.
