Fly Play Europe is a Maltese-registered airline and a subsidiary of the now-defunct Icelandic low-cost airline Fly Play hf. It was established in November 2024 and received its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from Malta in March 2025. The company specializes in ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) and charter operations, providing aircraft and services to other airlines. Icelandair has signed a letter of intent to acquire a 49% stake in Fly Play Europe, aiming to expand charter flight opportunities and gain access to broader aviation agreements available through Malta.
