Grótta is an Icelandic sports club based in Seltjarnarnes, a town in the Capital Region. Founded on April 24, 1967, the club initially focused on football but has since expanded to include departments for handball, gymnastics, and powerlifting. Grótta is known for its women's handball team, which won national championships in 2015 and 2016, and its football team, which competes in the Icelandic football league system.
